摘要

在小学英语教育改革的背景下,其教学编排,教学内容,教学方式以及学习方法有着显著地优化革新。小学生英语绘本阅读教学会一定程度上提升小学生对学习英语文本阅读的兴趣和英语阅读能力。英文绘本是一种图文相结合的有意义的阅读书。其中所呈现的地道的英语使其成为小学生学习英语的最佳途径之一。在英语课堂中运用绘本教学,可以很好地提高学生学习英语的兴趣,拓展学生的语言知识,促进学生综合语言运用能力的发展。本文采用课堂观察对小学英语绘本教材中Caps for sale这一课堂的教学进行个案研究,旨在了解当前英语教学中小学英语绘本的使用现状, 并分析其在运用的过程中出现的问题。通过调查以及对文献的研究发现:在这堂教学课中,教师运用绘本教学并没有使学生对知识,技能以及情感的运用得到很大提升,导致了学生接受知识不够全面。最后,本文针对这些问题提出相应的建议,希望能够促进教师通过绘本教学提高小学英语教学质量和学生学习英语的兴趣。

Abstract

Under the background of English education reform in elementary school, the teaching schedule, teaching content, teaching methods and learning methods witness a significant innovation. Teaching English by reading picture books in elementary school can improve students’ interest in reading and their reading ability, and ultimately achieve the quality of elementary school English education process to some extend. The English picture book is a book combined with pictures, which become one of the best ways to present authentic English for students to learn. Using picture books in the English classes can well improve students’ interest in learning English, expanding their knowledge of the language, and promote the comprehensive development of students' ability to use language. In this paper, the writer bases on the observation of the picture book Caps for sale in elementary school in order to know the condition of the picture books use in teaching and analyze the issues arising in the process of it. Through the observation and some bibliography, we can find that the use of English picture books in teaching cannot make students improve them in knowledge, skill and emotion. Finally, the whole essay puts forward a series of suggestions to improve the efficiency of picture books teaching and cultivate student’s interests in learning.
