摘  要

现今,英语成为了世界通用语,学习英语也变得越来越重要。听力作为英语教学的重点和难点,也受到了大量的关注。在经济全球化的今天,英语为交流提供了可能。本文从多元智能理论的角度,探讨了多元智能理论在英语听力教学中的应用。由于每个人都有其智能的优势和劣势,也都有智能发展的潜能。因此教师在教学中
应该因材施教,挖掘学生不同的潜能,这样学生就能获得自信从而提升学习兴趣。同时,应该估算教学强度、改变教学方法、 转变教学思维。从而为学生创造一个轻松学习语言的环境, 提高其英语听力水平。

Abstract

Nowadays, English is the global lingua franca and the need to learn it will become more and more important. As a key part of English teaching, listening has been paid much attention to. Also, it is the most difficult skills. In a globalizing world, English provides the possibility of communication. This paper explained from the perspective of MIT, which discussed the application of the MIT into the teaching of English listening. Due to that all the people have the potential for the development of the intelligence, each person has his or her intellectual strengths and weakness. Thus, teachers should explore different methods for different students to promote self-developing; they could carry out the individualized teaching meanwhile dig potential ability of students. Students will gain self-confidence and meanwhile increase their interest in listening comprehension. Hence, teachers should thoroughly calculate the advancement of teaching intension, advocate the improvement of teaching method and change teaching ideas. Therefore to create a happy environment for students to learn a language and improve their ability of listening comprehension.
