摘  要

开放式课堂教学是相对于传统课堂教学的一种全新的教学模式。它以全新的教学方法，教学方式，教学内容和教学评价对学生进行开放式教学，极大地满足了学生的实际学习需求。随着英语在国际上的地位不断提高，开放式教学在英语课堂中的运用对英语甚至其他任何语言的教学都起到很大促进作用。本论文就英语开放式课堂教学的主要内容和存在的问题以及如何运用在大学英语课堂中展开讨论。在与传统课堂教学的对比中，突出了开放式课堂教学在英语教学中的优点及其重要性以及它对教育事业所产生的影响和贡献。同时就中国开放式英语课堂教学的现状进行分析，研究改进方法，为更好的英语课堂教学做好基础铺垫。

Abstract

Open class teaching is a new teaching mode compared with the traditional class teaching. The open class English teaching starts through its new teaching method, teaching way, teaching content and teaching evaluation in English class. It satisfies the great need of students’ practical learning. As the national status of English increases, the use of open class teaching in English classes promotes the English teaching or any other language teaching. The paper discusses the main content and the major issues which should be solved in the open class English teaching. In addition, it also explains how to use the open class English teaching into college English class. During the deep comparing between the open class English teaching and the traditional one, the paper refers to the merits of open class teaching and its importance in English teaching. What’s more, it also shows the great influence and contribution to the educational undertaking. Meanwhile, the paper also analyzes the current situation of Chinese open class English teaching and researches the way to improve. More importantly, the study of open class English teaching can make a progress as a basic part for the development of English teaching in China.
