摘  要

随着中国金融事业的迅猛发展,金融英语在对外交易上发挥着必不可少的作用。金融英语是提高学生在国际金融交易和投资上扮演着重要的角色。金融英语的口语化是金融英语最具有实践性的一个特点,如果大学生具有熟练的金融英语口语运用能力,就会增加进入国际化企业工作的机会。但是,因教学实习、讲授方法、教师本身的素质等多方面的各种欠缺,很多学生并不能用英语流利地进行无距离金融业内交流,“哑巴”英语现象十分普遍。本文粗略的分析了金融英语口语的教育现状,指出了存在的部分问题,并从外交能力的教育、商务文化意识的教育,多媒体的利用以及教学师资的提升等方面展开,对解决商金融英语专业学生的口语水平问题进行了探究。

Abstract

With the soaring improvement of Chinese financial industries, financial English plays an indispensable role on trading in foreign countries. Finance English has been involved in various fields of common activities such as the foreign trade, technology transfer, international financing, transnational tourism, and international transportation. A good command of English is undoubtedly a must for the present talents. Financial English is regarded as a crucial college course in order to improve students’ skills of presentation and communication under the circumstances of international business. If the students are proficient in finance English, it will increase the opportunity to work in international business. At present, many schools are actively reforming the teaching mode, trying to keep up with the training objectives and requirements of the talents in new times. However, many deficiencies still lies in the process of teaching practice. Therefore, a number of students can’t use English fluently for business communication. The phenomenon of dumb English is quite common now. This paper mainly aims to solve the problem in students’ competence of financial English. In this paper, the writer briefly analyzes the current situation of finance English teaching, points out some problems resulting from the restricting factors of the teaching practice, traditional teaching methods, teachers’ competence, etc., and lays emphasis on some suggestions from the aspects of cultivating students’ communicative competence, raises students’ awareness of business culture, applies multimedia technology and constructing teaching staff.
