中美小学课堂教育模式比较研究_英语教学论文

摘  要

自从进入21世纪,国际竞争就变成了人才竞争,而培养人才的关键就是课堂教学。本文这要通过对我国和美国一个小学班级不同的上课模式的研究和比较,找出我们与美国小学课堂教育模式之间的差异以及对其学生能力的不同影响,从而培养更多的人才,适应新世纪的发展需要,适应全球化竞争的需要。我们应借鉴美国的课堂教学法,在其传授给学生大容量知识的同时,也提高课堂活跃程度,多给学生一点活动空间,充分调动学生学习积极性,充分发挥他们的自主性和创造性。并且作者在最后就我国目前的小学课堂教育模式的具体应该如何改进提出了自己的建议和看法。

Abstract

From the ancient time, Chinese culture has focused on group consciousness, while American culture advocated individual competitions. Chinese inward agricultural culture requires that we should deal well with the relationship of man and nature, but the American is on the contrary. Hence, different cultures determine different education systems, education concepts, education modes between China and America. The differences embody in form of class teaching modes, and different class teaching modes have different influences on developing students’ ability. The vitality of education lies in the class teaching, and class teaching and the ways and forms of studying of students are always what we are concerned about. The Chinese and American class teaching modes differ in teaching goals, teaching methods, teaching content, the relationship between teachers and students, and the classroom atmosphere and so on. The differences are caused by individual differences, family education background differences, the different evaluation criteria. In the 21st century in China, the way in which teachers teach textbook knowledge can not meet the needs of teaching, because they only transmit knowledge to students rather than teach the students how to obtain knowledge and improve their ability to analyze and understand. Comparison and analysis of the classroom teaching of China and the United States will help us to update the concept and reform of education, to adapt to the development needs of the new century, and to meet the needs of the global competition. Only when people communicate with others can culture make progress; also, only when we compare with others can we know our weaknesses and make progress. Therefore, it is necessary to a make comparison between Chinese and American class teaching modes.
