摘要

任务型教学法是以任务为中心,以学生完成各种交际任务或活动为目标的教学方法。《高中英语新课程标准》倡导在英语教学中实施任务型教学,培养学生综合语言应用能力。基于不同学者对任务的定义及国内外对于任务型研究的现状,本文通过同个教学设计在两个不同班级的效果对英语阅读课任务型教学任务的设计进行探讨,旨在探讨如何在英语高中阅读教学中更有效地应用任务型教学,提高学生的语言应用能力。

Abstract
 
Task-based language teaching is a method taking tasks as center, and ask students to complete various communicative tasks or activities. New English Curriculum Standards for Senior Highs advocates the using of task-based language teaching to train students’ integrated competence in language usage. Based on different scholar’s definition and previous studies of task-based teaching at home and abroad, this thesis explores the design of task by comparing the effects of two different classes with the same teaching plan, aiming to help teachers apply the task-based teaching better in senior English class and to improve students’ ability of language application.

1 Introduction
Operation of task-based language teaching model is a kind of logic teaching operation, which abandons the rigidity and defect of traditional English teaching. It has a direct positive impact on students’ classroom interaction and mind-expanding ability. The task-based teaching method embodies a more advanced teaching philosophy and more effective way to acquire language, it is an English teaching of middle school worthy to be promoted comprehensively. Although the calls for English new curriculum reform of middle school has continued, the task-based teaching mode has not been widespread fully or completely. How can teachers apply task-based language teaching better? This problem requires urgent and rapid attention for the high school teachers.
1.1 Background information and purpose of the study
English is an international language. Because of the communication and cooperation between China and other foreign countries, English has become a license for Chinese to the world and future. The new situation makes teachers confront with unprecedented challenge and trial. To study new English teachings which can train senior students with certain English knowledge and communicative skills, in accordance with the development and requirement of times has been a task of teachers, especially high school teachers.
