摘要
   
多媒体技术在英语教学中的应用,是英语教学改革的方向和新主流。基于多媒体技术辅助教学的优势和广阔的发展前景,研究其对于教学效果的影响可以有效的使多媒体技术适应英语教学的特点和模式,在实际教学过程中提高英语教学效率。目前众多学校在CALL方面进行了非常可贵的尝试和研究,也取得了许多成功的经验和成果。但不得不承认,我们的CALL还处在相当幼稚的初级阶段,在不少方面还存在着问题或者说是走进了误区,因此研究如何有效利用这种教学模式已迫在眉睫。本文以初中英语教学为研究对象,研究计算机辅助语言教学对教学效果的影响及其重要性,通过问卷调查法,分析其中存在的问题,并提出合理的建议,从而提高英语教学效率。

Abstract

The application of multimedia technology is the new mainstream in English teaching. Based on the advantages and the broad prospects of multimedia technology, research on the influence of the teaching effect will not only make it adapt to the characteristics and modes of English teaching, but also improve the efficiency in the actual teaching process. At present, many schools make valuable attempt and research on CALL, which have received successful experience and achievements. But never can we deny the fact that our CALL is still at the pretty childish primary stage. There are still problems in many areas. So research on how to effectively use this kind of teaching mode has been imminent. The research object of this paper is English teaching in junior middle school, and the study will research on the teaching effect of computer assisted language teaching and its importance, analysis of the existing problems through questionnaire, and putting forward the reasonable suggestions so as to improve the efficiency of English teaching.

1. Introduction
1.1 Research Background
Computer Assisted Language Learning is often called CALL for short. Early in the nineteen fifties, people began to explore how to use computer in education. University students majored in science and engineer learned computer in the classroom around 1958, and after 1965, the effect on the teaching activities made by computer began to be recognized. Study of computer assisted language teaching in our country began in the late nineteen seventies, and developed rapidly in the late 80's and the beginning of the 90's. The behavior theory (Behaviorism) of Skinner (B.F.Skinner) is the basic theory of Computer Assisted Language Teaching (Wu Baiyinna 2012). The cognitive structure theory (Cognitive Structuralism) in twentieth Century fifty or sixty is the psychological basis to computer assisted language teaching. In recent years, with the development of information technology and the popularization of computer, CALL as a new teaching model for foreign language learners provides a new way and new method of language learning, which has attracted extensive attention in the field of foreign language education.
