摘要

网络语言是时代的产物，是科技的产物，也是文化发展的产物。科技的迅猛发展使我们之间的距离越来越小，也促生了网络语言文化这一独特的文化现象。网络文化的影响日益渗透在我们每个人的生活。以网络语言为代表的网络流行文化是信息社会中产生的一柄新的“双刃剑”，既有积极的影响，也有消极的因素，因此，对网络语言，我们应该注意区分其作用，扩大其积极影响；对消极的因素，也应注意区分其发生和出现的原因，辨明其作用，再加以引导。我们要以乐观向上、积极客观的态度审视网络语言的发展，并始终相信网络词汇的发展是不可阻挡的，网络语言的价值必将在语言发展的实践和社会生活中得到充分的彰显。

Abstract

Online languages are the products of this era that is filled with advanced technology and collective wisdom. Thanks to the help of the advanced technology, especially the online languages, we increase intimacy with each other beyond the constraint of space, distance and time. Consequently, cyber culture comes into being which shows the immense impact of English and Chinese online languages to all over the world. Undoubtedly, the impact of the cyber culture penetrates every aspect of our life. The cyber culture is a new double-edged sword which has both positive and nagative factors. Additional attention should be paid to distinguish its impacts so that we can keep the positive attributes and remove the nagatives. We need an optimistic, positive and objective attitude to look at the development of the online language, and always believe that the development of cyber culture is benefitial to our society.

1. Introduction
1.1 The purpose and significance of the research
Nowadays, we are entering into a new brand era of technology. When we come to the most important invention in decades, there is no doubt that what comes into people’s mind first is computer. In the wake of the popularity of using computers, online language appeared which have affected people’s daily life dramatically. Especially, the ubiquity of English and Chinese online languages make great impact all over the world. After decades, cyber-language culture has occurred. During the decades, a lot of researches have been done on the basis of English and Chinese online languages. As a result, the rise of the Internet is supposed to have created a globle village, in which the destinies of all countries are getting more and more interconnected. Every coin has two sides. One is good side and the other one is the bad side. So does the cyber culture. In other words, the appearance of cyber culture has done good to our society and it has also done harm to our society. What counts is that people should keep the attributes and remove the nagatives of cyber language culture. This thesis makes an analysis of the mutual penetration and impact of English and Chinese online languages, on the basis of which some possible solutions are put up to reduce the negative impact of online language to our daily life.
