好莱坞电影《沉默的羔羊》获得了第64届奥斯卡最佳影片、最佳导演、最佳改编剧本、最佳男女主角五项奥斯卡大奖，成为美国百部经典影片之一。这也是恐怖电影第一次获此殊荣，登上大雅之堂。它的另外两部续集《汉尼拔》和《红龙》也在票房上大获成功。
《沉默的羔羊》三部曲的男主角是一位知识渊博的精神病医生汉尼拔•莱克特，但同时也是一位精神病人。他是杀人无数的食人魔，但却为了心爱的女人，砍掉自己的一只手。他一眼就能洞穿任何人的内心，但却举止优雅，品位不凡。电影之所以流传至今，很大一部分原因在于其刻画了这位人物性格丰满的汉尼拔博士。
西格蒙德•弗洛伊德是精神分析学派的创始人，他的人格心理发展理论将人的人格发展分为五个阶段。本文从弗洛伊德的人格心理学出发，研究汉尼拔博士的性格特征。本文认为，汉尼拔博士的性格主要为口欲期人格，占其性格的50%，另外还有40%的肛欲期人格和10%的其他人格。正是这样复杂的性格造就了汉尼拔种种怪异的举动和令人难以捉摸的行为。
此外，本文还根据电影情节，推断了汉尼拔性格形成的原因。出身贵族，却又在童年时丧失父母和妹妹，使汉尼拔身心受到沉重的打击。这是导致汉尼拔复杂性格的主要原因。

Abstract

Hollywood movie The Silence of the Lambs won the 64th Oscar Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Actor and Best Actress, which is one of the top 100 movies in America. And also this was the first time for a horror movie winning so honorable prizes. The box office of the two sequels Hannibal and Red Dragon were also quite good.
The hero of the trilogy is Hannibal Lecter, a learned psychiatrist and a psychopath. He is a cannibal who kills plenty of people, while he cuts off his hand for a girl with whom he falls in love. He can penetrate anyone’s mind easily but he is very elegant and has good taste. The reason why the films are remembered is mostly that it depicted a full image Dr. Hannibal.
Sigmund Freud was the father of psychiatry. According to his theory, the development of one’s personality can be divided into five stages. Based on his theory of personality, the paper analyzes the character of Dr. Hannibal. The character of Hannibal is mainly oral personality, which occupies 50 percent. And the 40 percent of his character is anal personality and 10 percent others. This complex character leads to Hannibal’s different kinds of odd behavior and elusive action.
Besides that, the paper tries to infer the cause of his complex character from the plot of the movies. Born in a noble family, however his parents and sister dying when he is a young boy, is the main reason which contributes to his complicated character.
