摘要

随着我国当前社会的巨大变化,汉语词汇系统也出现了相应变化。其中活跃在大众媒体当中的语言又是最能体现语言动态的一面镜子,折射出社会经济、文化、教育等诸多方面的发展与变化。
在中西文化传播与交融中,中国的传媒语言不断吸收外来语言文化成分。分析传媒语言中的英语外来词,不仅对于汉语词汇系统的研究具有重要的学术价值,对于进一步认识中国文化和英语文化的相互接触、相互影响也有重要的意义。
本文通过调查中国的报刊、杂志等大众传媒中的英语外来词的使用情况,采用语言接触理论的分析方法,对这些外来词进行系统的分析,在观察和分析大量语料的基础上,指出中英语码转换、音意译外来词等语言创新体现了汉民族语言自身发展的新特点,并分析了产生这些特点的原因。
大众传媒语言的示范性、导向性决定了规范其中英语外来词使用的必要性。本文对外来词的规范也提出了可行性建议。

ABSTRACT

With the great changes of current society, there are corresponding changes in Chinese vocabulary system. The language which is active in the mass media is a mirror that embodies the dynamic language and reflects the development and changes of society, economy, culture, education and many other aspects.
In the process of Chinese and Western cultural communication and integration, Chinese mass media language continually absorbs the cultural elements of foreign languages. The analysis of English loanwords in Chinese mass media is of significance to the research on Chinese vocabulary system, and it is also conducive to the future knowledge of the contact between Chinese culture and English culture.
Based on the survey of the current use of loanwords in Chinese mass media, specially in Chinese newspapers and magazines, by adoption of language contact theory, this thesis has made a comprehensive and systematic study of English loanwords in Chinese mass media. Based on the collected data, it is observed that there present new national characteristics in loanword use --- code-switching, phonetic loans, semantic extension of English loanwords. Besides, this thesis explores the reasons for the emergence of these characteristics.
Chinese mass media language is typical and plays and exemplary role, so it is necessary to standardize its loanword use. Finally, this thesis proposes some feasible suggestions to loanword use standardization.
