摘要：

不平等的待遇是基于性别不平等以及个人基于性别的看法，它是由社会建构的性别角色差异以及生物通过染色体，大脑结构和激素的差异，还可以通过性别歧视的机制来分析不平等待遇的问题。但这种性别不平等现象很少在东方和西方的宗教进行比较，尤其在差异性方面的比较。本文将通过对东西方宗教中男女不平等现象的比较分析，指出性别不平等、性别歧视的普遍性，探索从根本上解决性别不平等问题的方法。

Abstract:

Unequal treatment is based on the gender inequality and personal opinion based on gender. It is the gender role differences of social construction and biological differences through chromosome, brain structure and hormones. Gender discrimination mechanism can be used to analyze the problems of unequal treatment. What should be noticed is that this gender inequalities phenomenon is rarely compared within eastern and western religions, to see if there are some differences. This paper’s objective is to fill the void, and to explore a solution to gender inequality problem through a comparative analysis of this phenomenon in eastern and western religions.

1. Introduction
1.1 Research background
Gender inequality is the unequal treatment or personal view based on gender. It includes the gender role differences of social construction and biological differences through chromosome, brain structure and hormone. Gender inequality can also be shown through the gender discrimination mechanism. For the Discrimination in this way, both men and women receive the gender bias.
1.2 The purpose and significance of this thesis
What should be noticed is that this gender inequalities phenomenon is rarely compared within eastern and western religions, to see if there are some differences. This article’s objective is to fill the void, and set the ball rolling. As following, the writer would first discuss whether there lays a difference between western and eastern religious’ attitudes towards the gender inequalities, if so, further more attentions would be drawn on how did these differences occur, and what’s rooted in them. and possible solution to the gender inequality problem.
1.3 The structure of this thesis
This thesis mainly consists of five parts. The introduction part begins with a brief description of what the whole thesis will discuss. It compendiously introduces the research background, the purpose and significance of the thesis and the organization of the thesis. Chapter two provides a general literature review and primarily studies the previous research of the gender inequalities phenomenon in western and eastern religions at home and aboard, focusing on the development of feminist movement and what influences it have on the research of gender inequalities.
