摘要：

《了不起的盖茨比》作为著名小说改编的电影，上映后收到了巨大的反响。其中剧中人物的爱情悲剧所折射出的深层次多方面的问题，是理解作者写作意图重要工具。因此本课题通过分析电影中人物性格特点和历史背景以及相关原著资料发掘造成盖茨比爱情悲剧的种种因素。剖析当时的社会背景，阶级的鸿沟，以及人物自身的性格特点对主人公盖茨比爱情悲剧的影响。
本论文主要分析电影《了不起的盖茨比》中爱情悲剧的原因，通过对大量有关此作品文献及影像资料的分析，从多个角度发掘出作品的深层涵义。通过对美国社会背景，阶级分歧的研究以及对电影中人物自身性格特点的分析，我们能够更好的理解作品的意义和作者的写作意图。

Abstract:

As a film adapted by the famous novel, the movie "The Great Gatsby” received a huge response after it was on. The deep-seated problems in many aspects reflected from the love tragedy about the characters are an important tool for understanding the intention of authorship. Therefore, this issue will explore the original reasons causing Gatsby’ love tragedy from various factors by analyzing the characteristics of the movie characters, the historical background and some related information. The author will analyze the social background, class divination, as well as the character of their own personal characteristics which caused the love tragedy about the protagonist Gatsby.
     This paper analyzes the causes of the love tragedy in the movie "The Great Gatsby”. Through the analysis of a lot of work on this document and image data from multiple perspectives, the author wants to explore the deeper meaning of this film. Through the analysis about American social background, class difference research and the figure's own character traits, the readers can better understand the meaning of the work and the intention of the author.
