摘  要

模糊性是人类语言的基本属性之一,人们的日常人际交往离不开模糊语言。一般来说,模糊语具有模糊与准确两种基本属性,两者相辅相成,缺一不可。模糊语在商务谈判中也具有特定的运用方式,包括含糊表达,委婉陈辞,简介话语以及非相关回答。这样可以避免在商务交际中遇到的问题。只有这样,合作商才能更好的进行商务合作。然而在强调准确严谨的商务英语谈判中,恰当地使用模糊语,更有助于达到理想的谈判目的。本文对模糊语做简要的论述,主要探讨商务英语谈判中的模糊语言现象和其语用功能。为双方保留面子,使谈判灵活,避免尴尬,提高说服力。这些研究的内容对达成成功的谈判起到关键性的作用。

Abstract

Vague language is one of the basic attributes of human language. People’s daily life is inseparable from the vague language. Generally speaking, vague language contains vague and accurate basic attributes, and neither can be omitted. When it comes to language, vague language also has some specific applicative forms in business negotiation, including ambiguous expression, euphemistic presentations, indirect utterance and irrelevant responses. It can avoid the problems encountered in business communication. Only in this way, can negotiators make a better cooperation. However, using vague language aptly is conducive to achieving the desirable purpose of negotiations when negotiators emphasize the strict accuracy of business negotiation. This paper briefly discusses the vague language and focuses on the phenomenon of vague language and its pragmatic functions in business negotiation. The applicative skills contain four items as follow: save face for both sides, make the negotiation flexible and rigorous, break the ice and enhance powers of persuasion to promote successful negotiation. The content of research plays an important role in successful negotiation.
