摘  要

随着改革开放的不断深入，我国的国际贸易得到飞速增长，成为中国经济的重要组成部分。随着中国与其他国家的贸易往来日益增加，文化差异在贸易中的影响也日渐体现。民以食为天，饮食文化是人们生活中重要组成部分，也是一个国家文化的浓缩，饮食文化上的差异对国际贸易也有很大影响。中国作为最大的发展中国家，英国作为最发达的西方工业化国家之一，两国经济互补性很强，经贸合作的空间很大。本文从英国的地理条件、宗教习惯、风俗习惯和烹饪风格四个方面进行研究论述，来解释英国在饮食文化上与中国的差异，并探究这些差异对中英贸易的影响。饮食文化差异的研究将会在跨文化交流和贸易中起到很大作用，从而促进中国的对外贸易。

Abstract

With the deepening of reform and opening up, China's international trade has been growing up rapidly, and has become an important part of China's economy. And with the development of the trade between China and other countries, the influence of cultural differences on trade has become more and more obvious. As the saying goes, “Hunger breeds discontentment.” Food culture is an important part in people's lives and is a cultural enrichment of a country, and the differences on food culture have a significant impact on international trade. China is the biggest developing country, and Britain is one of the most developed western industrial countries. The economies of these two countries are highly complementary, and there is great space for economy and trade cooperation between two countries. This paper will study and discuss four aspects, and these aspects include geographical conditions,, religious practice, custom and cooking style. The author will explain the differences between British and Chinese diet culture, and explore the impact of these differences on China’s trade. Researching the diet culture difference will play a significant role in inter-cultural communication and trade.
