Abstract
One of the most prominent expressions of modern English is the English that used in mass media such as newspapers, magazines, radio, TV and Internet. News English belongs to General English, which is the main part of Standard English. As an applied language, News English has its unique features which differ greatly from general English. In the Chinese context, the use of “China English” is an important measure to deal with content on traditional Chinese culture. This paper views from news English, integrating the linguistic and writing features of news English, and mainly analysis the Emergence, Linguistic Features, using and significance of China English. It will help English learners to read and understand news English and China English more effectively and accurately, it will also guide news practitioners adopt a better news writing skill.

现代英语的表现途径,除了文艺作品,最大量、最经常、最流行的就是包括报纸、杂志、广播、电视、网络在内的“大众传媒”。新闻英语文体属于普通英语,即标准英语的主体层,它作为一种应用语言,因其自身特点和传播功能而在语言运用上形成了个性鲜明的特点,与普通英语有着不少差异。于此同时,在诸多涉及中国传统文化的英语新闻中,“中国英语”亦成为一种不可避免的表达方式。本文以新闻英语切入点,结合英语新闻主要的语言特点和写作特点,重点探讨分析当前“中国英语”的产生背景、自身特点、应用及意义,旨在帮助广大中国读者及英语学习者掌握中国英语的特点,更有效、更准确地去理解英语新闻报道的内容。

1. Introduction
English, as an international language, has become a multinational, multicultural and multifunctional language. The appearance of the concept, "Englishes", reflects the fact that English is no longer what it used to be. When we speak of English, we do not limit it to British English or American English nor to a wider range of Canadian English, Australian English, New Zealand English, etc. Instead, we are more aware of the existence of African “Englishes”, Asian “Englishes”, or the Third World “Englishes” (Bagnall, 1993:10).
1.1 The Previous Study of China English
Chinese English has become a hot topic among the research of world “Englishes” In 1980; China English first appeared in an article by Ge Chuangui. China English, resulting from the combination of Chinese culture and the English language, has become a hot issue in China (Baskette, 1986:14). There have been every now and then explorations of this topic, some focusing on theoretical differentiation of China English and Chinese English, others on practical treatment of expressions of China English, and still others on the legitimate status of China English itself. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the making of China English, give a general review of different opinions about China English, discuss the criteria for the status of China English and finally describe the peculiarities of China English.
