摘要

在《一间自己的屋子》中，弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫提出如果女性从事文学创作，一年需要500英镑以及拥有一间属于自己的屋子，并鼓励女性追求独立的社会地位和经济地位。本论文拟从自由女性主义角度出发，对《一间自己的屋子》中女性和屋子的关系进行解读。通过分析《一间自己的屋子》中女性人物所受到的空间限制，本文将探讨女性需要的自己的屋子是指什么，需要自己屋子的原因以及构建自己屋子的策略。最后，本文得出结论：女性需要的屋子是指自由的生活空间和独立的精神空间。如果女性拥有了自己的屋子，她们可以增强话语权，突破女性角色的局限以及享受身心上的自由。女性在构建自己的屋子时，可从唤醒女性意识，积极参与社会以及建立坚实的经济基础三个方面进行。
