摘要

《肖申克的救赎》作为最受欢迎的美国电影之一，在反映美国文化方面有着巨大的研究价值。影片中所展现的个人主义，是一种强调个人自由、独立、平等的理论观点，本论文认为《肖申克的救赎》的内容和主题与个人主义核心价值观完美统一。笔者通过对《肖申克的救赎》中所体现的个人主义价值观进行分析，致力于帮助各国观众丰富其观影视角，消除作为美国核心价值观的个人主义的认知的偏差。

本论文从电影情节、人物性格、台词及独白三方面入手，对《肖申克的救赎》所体现的个人主义核心价值观进行分析，得出《肖申克的救赎》从各方面体现了美国个人主义价值观这一结论。
