摘  要

本文旨在梳理英语听力教学策略,尤其是对初中英语听力教学策略的理论研究,进而探讨其优化策略在初中英语听力教学中的具体应用。作为一项语言技能,英语听力是英语教学目的之一;作为学习的手段,听又是掌握英语的必由之路,学习说话、学习发音都离不开听。听力是英语考试不可缺少的组成部分,但同时又是令学生最感道头疼的一个部分。要提高英语教与学的质量,就必须对听力训练给予足够的重视。本文采用文献研究法,在分析前期学者的听力教学策略的基础上,阐述英语听力教学优化策略,并结合初中英语听力教学存在的问题探讨优化策略的应用。研究发现,听力优化策略在初中英语听力教学中发挥着重要作用。

Abstract

This thesis attempts to sort out listening strategies, especially ones in junior middle school English listening teaching strategies and then explore the application of its optimized strategies in junior middle school English listening teaching. As a linguistic skill, listening is one of English teaching aims; as a learning strategy, listening is also the way to grasp English. Learning speaking, learning pronunciation also depend on listening. Listening is a necessary part of English testing, while at the same time, it is the most difficult part to students. We must pay enough attention to listening training if we want to increase English teaching and learning quality. Through the analysis of listening teaching strategies on the basis of documentation method, this paper illustrates optimized listening strategies. And then further discusses the application of optimized strategies at the base of the cooperation with problems that exist in listening teaching. The analysis shows that optimized listening strategies play a vital role in junior middle school English listening teaching.

1 Introduction
As we all know, listening plays the most basic and indispensible role in our daily communication. It is one of the most vital ways for people to obtain information in our society. It is also regarded as the most important skill among the four basic skills. As for students, the requirements of students’ listening comprehension ability have become higher. In addition, the tests which have been taking in middle schools cover a large proportion of listening comprehension. Therefore, in order to improve their listening, they have to spend much time on it. While, the fact is that it is not the more students listen to, the better scores they will have. The root of the problem is that which strategies students take when they are having listening practice.
From the perspective of listening strategy, it is one of the most essential parts of English teaching, not only listening but also reading, speaking, writing, etc. Listening strategy has been studied by linguistics, psychologists and psycholinguists all over the world. It has also been studied by them from different aspects and levels due to its complexity. By probing into the famous scholars’ research, establish the awareness of using listening strategy and improve their listening comprehension effectively.
