Feature Analysis And Business Application of MOOC    

摘要

大型网络开放课程(MOOC)作为一种数据化时代的崭新的学习方式,为学习者带来了了能跨越文化、经济、政治限制的获取知识的渠道和学习方法。近年来,该项目受到不少来自国内外研究者的关注。MOOC的崛起为网络学堂这一方式提供了新的思路与见解。

本文在对MOOC的简单介绍和历史梳理上,对典型平台进行内容分析,将从平台定位、课程组织、课程资源和教学方式等四个方面,总结大型网络开放课程项目的主要特征。在上述基础上,结合运营机制、课程开发等方面分析这一模式的商业化应用,具体以美国Coursera公司和沪江网校为案例探讨MOOC的商业化运营。

Abstract

With the development of higher education, a new teaching model online education has been quickly developed and widely used. MOOC, Massive Open Online Course,  an online course aimed at unlimited participation and open access via the web, has gradually passed through the restriction of culture, economy and politics. In recent years, it has also attracted extensive attention of researchers both at home and abroad. The rise of MOOC provides new ideas and methods for the development of e-learning.

According to the analysis of the contents of each project, this paper summarizes the main characteristics of the large-scale network open course from four aspects of platform positioning, curriculum organization, curriculum resources and teaching methods to find out the key factors of its success. On the basis of the analysis above and the case study of the American Coursera company and Hujiang school to discuss the commercial application of MOOC.
