摘要

本文探讨中国旅游景点英文介绍中的母语负迁移现象。作者从语言迁移理论出发，对7处著名中国旅游景点的英文介绍进行研究。本文探究中国旅游景点英文介绍中是否存在母语负迁移现象，若存在，体现在什么方面。本文采用了定性分析法进行案例分析。分析结果表明：中国旅游景点英文介绍中存在母语负迁移现象，涉及语篇、句法及词汇等方面。本文旨在通过分析该现象以引起译者和旅游景区相关人员对景点英文介绍的重视，提高翻译质量，给外国游客更好的旅游体验。

Abstract

This paper analyses the phenomena of negative transfer of mother tongue in the English version of China’s tourist attractions. Based on the theory of language transfer, the author studies the English version of seven famous China’s tourist attractions. The paper aims to figure out whether the phenomena of negative transfer of mother tongue will be found in the English version of China’s tourist attractions and in which aspect they will be found. A qualitative approach was adopted for materials analysis. The result shows that negative transfer of mother tongue does occur involving discourse level, syntactic level, lexical level and so on. The study brings translations and managements of tourist attractions to attention in order to improve the quality of translation and more importantly, provide a unique tourism experience for foreign visitors.
