本文从非语言交际中所包含的副语言在跨文化交际的方面入手，探索中西方副语言在功能，表达及内涵各个方面存在的差异性。这些差异的存在会造成我们在中西方跨文化交际中对于副语言使用的误用和误解。本文将从中西方副语言现存的差异来分析：一、副语言对于跨文化交际的重要性 二、造成中西方副语言差异的原因是由于中西方特定的文化差异和表达习惯方式不同等缘由 三、如何规避在跨文化交际中由于副语言使用不当而引发的交际障碍。
