摘要

随着中美交流的日益频繁，大量的美国影片在国内得到广泛传播，美国文化也随之进入中国人的日常生活当中。但是，由于不同的社会背景与文化传统等因素制约着观众对美国文化价值观的解读。本论文通过对电影《风雨哈佛路》的研究来分析美国文化价值观。跨文化是跨越了不一样的国家地区与民族界线的文化，体现了不同民族、国家及群体之间的文化差异度，是通过越过体系以经历文化归属性的人和人之间的互动关系。作者在跨文化视角下，分析电影情节所体现的美国文化价值观。通过分析向读者正确的解读美国文化价值观，充分认识上个世纪八九十年代的社会背景下所体现的美国文化。在本文中，作者将从霍夫斯泰德跨文化交际理论出发，从个人主义、权力距离、不确定性规避和女权主义四个角度来进行分析电影中所体现的美国文化价值观，并且将着重分析电影主人公是如何通过自己的不懈努力和外在条件的援助下走进高等学府哈佛大学。

Abstract

With the increasing frequency of exchanges between China and the United States, a large number of American films have been widely disseminated in China, and American culture has also entered the daily life of Chinese people. However, due to the difference of social background and cultural traditions, the audience's interpretation of American cultural values is restricted. This thesis analyzes American cultural values through the study of the movie " Homeless to Harvard ". It is an interaction between people who have passed through the system to experience cultural attribution. In this article, the author analyzes the American cultural values embodied in the film plot from a cross-cultural perspective. Through analysis, the reader correctly interprets American cultural values and fully understands the American culture embodied in the social background of the 1980s and 1990s. The author will analyze the American cultural values embodied in the film from the perspectives of Hofstede's intercultural communication theory that includes individualism, power distance, uncertainty avoidance and feminism and how the movie protagonist enters Harvard University in higher education through her hard efforts and external conditions.
