摘要 

影视作品和文学作品属于两种不同类型的创作。近年来，越来越多的影视作品以文学作品为创作素材，并取得斐然成就。影视作品在改编过程中，不可避免地结合时代不断创新，并通过影像和声音来展现出文学作品中的思想价值观念以及精神内涵。《呼啸山庄》以其精妙复杂的叙事手法，离奇、紧张的浪漫气氛和震撼人心的爱恨主题激发了一代又一代读者的浓厚兴趣，更是以其自身具有的较为深层次性的现实意义吸引了不同时代的编剧和导演。《呼啸山庄》作为一部英国小说，其英国版的电影改编更具典型性。对比研究英国在1970-2011期间三部不同时代的电影改编，更能把握在此四十年间，随着社会的发展，英国在两性意识、婚恋观、大众审美等方面发生的变化。
