摘要

随着全球化的发展，以影视作品为媒介的深入交流不断涌现，而字幕翻译在其中发挥着越来越重要的作用。今年的热门美剧《致命女人》主要讲述了生活在三个时代的三位女主人公采取了不同的方法去面对各自的丈夫不忠的故事，而这三个故事的结局都是某一个人的死亡。为了探究字幕翻译如何有效地传达剧情并有效地反映作品主题的特定目的，在目的论的理论指导下，本文通过对实例的分析与解读，对《致命女人》中字幕翻译进行了定性研究。通过对目的论理论的应用研究和具体案例分析，结合《致命女人》的作品主题，本文得出结论：在目的论的指导下，《致命女人》的字幕翻译表达了女性主义精神，体现了女性自我意识的觉醒。
