摘  要

    1930年,维果斯基提出了最近发展区理论。最近发展区理论是指“儿童独立解决问题的实际发展水平与在成人指导下或在有能力的同伴合作中解决问题的潜在发展水平之间的差距”。本文主要研究了支架性教学与分层教学的优缺点,并提出了竞争互动合作教学模式在中学英语教学中的重要性。本文主要运用了文献研究法和实验法来探讨最近发展区理论对中学的作用。本文认为,在以后的教学过程中,教师应着重分析学生的现有和潜在的发展水平,并及时给予学生一定的帮助和鼓励,引导学生合作学习,提高学习效率,突破最近发展区,取得英语学习进步。

Abstract

In the 1930s, Lev Vygotsky put forward the theory of the Zone of Proximal Development, which is the area between a child’s “actual development level as determined by independent problem solving” and the “potential development as determined through problem solving under adults’ guidance or in collaboration with more capable peers.” This paper mainly discussed the advantages and disadvantages of scaffold teaching mode and stratified teaching mode, and put forward the importance of the interactive teaching mode of cooperation and competition in middle school English teaching. This paper probes into the ZPD’s function to middle school English teaching by using literature research method and experimental method. The thesis concludes that teachers should pay attention to the analysis of students’ current and potential level of development during teaching in order to teach students effectively according to their own abilities. In addition, teachers should be aware of students’ learning problems and give them timely guidance and encouragement. It is also vital for teachers to guide students to learn cooperatively and enhance learning efficiency, so as to breakthrough the zone of proximal development of students and make further progress.
