A Brief Analysis of Marketing Strategies of Chinese Game Platforms according to Foreign Professional Game Platforms  

摘要

互联网的高速发展推动了游戏行业的繁荣,然而众多的游戏选择以及操作不便给游戏用户带来了极大的困扰。游戏平台的出现对部分游戏进行了整合,为用户提供了前所未有的便利。游戏平台的模式不但能给玩家更完美的游戏体验,更是为游戏开发商提供了一个更具有竞争力的平台。好的游戏内容加一个知名游戏平台可以为游戏本身带来更大的利益。

本文主要讨论的是游戏平台的营销策略,包括游戏正版,平台早期人气积累,独立游戏,托管游戏,网络广播促销,折扣营销游戏,支付多元化和部分帐户安全策略。 其中最重要的策略以及游戏平台生存的最基本的原则是游戏正版。 通过对这些策略的分析,结合国内外几大游戏平台发展历程的探讨,增加对游戏平台营销策略的理解,探索中国国内游戏平台向国际游戏市场的发展战略。

Abstract

The rapid development of the Internet has promoted the prosperity of the game industry. However thousands of game choices along with operating inconvenience has made the games troubles to players. Then platform came into the market ,integrating some parts of the games and providing platform-users with unprecedented convenience. The model of game platform not only gives the player a more perfect gaming experience, but also creates a more competitive platform for the game developers. Once a Good game with rich content pluses a well-known game platform, It will benefit the game itself.

This article mainly discusses the marketing strategy of the game platform, including the game genuine, platform early popularity accumulation, independent games, hosting games, webcast promotion, discount marketing games, payment diversification and some account security policy. The most important strategy among them as well as the general principle of a game platform to survive is the game genuine. Through the analysis of these strategies, we can increase the understanding of the development prospects of the game platform and provide strategies for China's domestic game platform to international game markets.
