Translators’ Subjectivity from the Perspective of Feminist Translation Theory ---- A Comparative Study of Two Chinese Versions of The Old Man and the Sea_英语论文

摘要

在跨文化交际中，译者起着非常重要的作用。然而，很长一段时间以来，人们都未能认识到译者的重要性。自从文化转向以来，翻译研究者开始关注一些译本文本之外的因素，如文化、经济、意识形态等。近年来，许多学者开始将目光投入到译者主体性这一话题上来。译者主体性是指译者的主观性。然而，很少有人从女性主义翻译理论这一角度出发。女性主义翻译理论一开始出现在西方国家，它对翻译研究起着不可忽视的作用。该理论给予译者、尤其是女性译者足够的重视。在中国，虽然女性主义翻译理论比西方女性主义翻译理论起步晚，但现在越来越多的中国学者开始关注女性主义翻译理论的重要作用。因此，本文拟从女性主义翻译理论的视角来看译者的主体性。

本文的调查问题是译者是如何运用女性主义翻译理论来体现他们的主体性。为了找到答案，本文将对《老人与海》张爱玲和余光中的两个中译本进行比较。

在比较两个中译本的过程中，本文将会用到举例法和对比法。本文试图找到并分析张爱玲译本中运用女性主义翻译理论来体现她主体性的例子，然后与余光中的译本进行对比，找出差异。

具体地来说，本文包含以下几个部分。

第一部分是总体的介绍；第二部分是文献综述；第三部分是对西方女性主义翻译理论和译者主体性的介绍；第四部分是对《老人与海》以及张爱玲和余光中译本的介绍；第五部分是对张爱玲和余光中翻译的《老人与海》进行的案例分析；最后一部分是对全文的总结。

总之，本文论证了从女性主义翻译观来体现译者主体性的重要性。本文希望能够为研究译者主体性提供一个新的角度并提高译者、尤其是女性译者的地位。
