摘要

珀西·比希·雪莱(1792~1822)的诗歌饱受赞誉，然而他的五幕诗剧《钦契》却鲜少有人关注。该剧不同于他其他的作品，这部作品具有当时19世纪英国文学流行的哥特式文学特征。《钦契》的哥特文学特征能够很好的表现以及突出他的反叛精神。然而国内对于雪莱《钦契》这部作品关注相对较少。本文探讨《钦契》是否属于哥特文学范畴，进而剖析这部作品的显著的哥特特征，从而剖析诗人所要表达出来的价值观，分析诗人在政治上以及社会价值观上的反叛精神。本文的意义在于为研究这部作品提供多维视角，还有助于对该作品的深入解读，能够为我们带来反思与启示。
