摘要

隐喻从很早起就是作为一种重要的修辞方法被人们所认知，而莱考夫和约翰逊提出的概念隐喻理论，让人们对隐喻有了更深的了解。从概念隐喻的定义及分类到运行机制等等，都与传统修辞隐喻有所不同。近年来，越来越多的学者将目光集中在概念隐喻在英语教学或者词汇中的应用。而本文主要还是想通过对文学作品《黄雀记》的研究，实例分析文学作品中的概念隐喻理论，并总结出概念隐喻的作用。
