摘要

访谈节目是一种独具魅力的语言现象,近年来风靡国内外。这种斗智益知的交流使得越来越多的观众纷纷为这种独具特色的语言和交流技巧所吸引。
本文主要回顾了格莱斯的合作原则及其会话含义,对该理论进行了阐述,剖析了两个理论之间的关系,为访谈节目中的会话分析提供了清晰的理论框架。
本文的主题部分是从热播的电视访谈节目《康熙来了》中精选了大量使用间接表达的对话,根据产生会话含义的不同表现形式相应归类,并运用上述语用学理论对其会话含义进行系统性的详细剖析。
本文通过分析康熙来了的会话含义得出了较为成功的电视访谈节目的一般特点,即通过故意违反一些会话准则,比如采用反讽,暗喻,反问等一些手段来为节目制造相对诙谐轻松的交谈氛围。

Abstract

Talk show, fascinating and appealing, enjoys tremendous popularity both at home and abroad. This kind of communication event can not only enhance wisdom, also enrich the accumulation of knowledge. And that’s the reason that it can arouse enthusiasm of so many people who are attracted by the distinctive language use and talking skills.
 This thesis gives a careful review of Grice’s Cooperative Principle(CP) and the related maxims, then the discussion of the Conversational Implicature(CI) from pragmatic approach is introduced. The relationship between these two theories has been valued as a main framework for the conversation analysis.
 The main body of the thesis selects quite a number of examples from a hot Chinese talk show program Kangxi Lai Le. These examples are classified into different categories in accordance with the pragmatic realization types of CI and made a systematic analysis.
After exploring the CI from the approach of pragmatics in Kangxi Lai Le, some general conclusions are finally drawn on the distinctive features of talk show langue in terms of pragmatics. While violating the theory of CP, for instance, using irony, metaphor, rhetorical question, the host or hostess successfully builds a relaxing and harmonious atmosphere and in the author’s view, that’s the key point for a successful TV talk show.

1. Introduction
1.1 Motivation of the Thesis
Human communication is the most basic and common phenomenon in people’s life. According to Grice (1967), all speakers comply with a basic CP to make the conversation do smoothly and meaningfully. However, in the complicated and varied human communication, people do always violate or even flout CP to convey their meanings in an indirect way. So, why don’t people speak directly? Why do people always convey their meanings in an indirect way? To find answers to these questions motivates the author to choose this topic.
