摘　要

语意离不开语境，对于一个词和句子准确的理解是依赖语境的帮助来实现的。因此，了解语言所运行的环境，熟悉有关语境知识，掌握分析语境的方法，可以帮助我们理解文章。人们所处的环境，民族文化，社会习俗，知识水平等的不同都会影响人们对语境的理解。在人的交际过程中，语境占据着很大的作用。在很大程度上，它影响着交际的质量和效率。对语境的研究，可以有效地帮助我们在交际中减少错误。因此，毫无疑问，无论对于文本理解或是日常交际，语境的作用非常明显。在此论文中，将运用文献分析法，数量分析法和质量分析法来研究语境在语意研究中的作用。

Abstract

Language understanding can not be separated from the context. To achieve a correct understanding of a word and a sentence is relying on the help of context. Therefore, to understand the operation of the language environment, get familiar with the relevant contextual knowledge, handle analysis methods of the context can help us to understand the article. People are different in period, educational level, national culture, social customs and language style, etc, which often makes them misread and deviate the language understanding. In people’s communication process, context plays a vital role. To a large extent, it affects the communication quality and efficiency. Studying context can effectively help us reduce the mistakes in communication. Therefore, there is no doubt, no matter for the understanding of the text or daily communication, the role of context is very obvious. In this paper, the research method of literature, the method of quantitative analysis and method of qualitative analysis will be used to research the function of context in the understanding of language.

1 Introduction
   As we all know, with the development of linguistics, especially the emergence and development of pragmatics, the study of context becomes a hot issue. Context plays an important role in the understanding of language; language communication is based on the context. No context, no text. The understanding of language is an important part of human cognition and a complex cognitive process. This complexity show that the speech communication subject to communication environment and socio-cultural factors, also present that the speaker’s words organizations depend on the hearers’ context suppose ability and understand ability in specific communication environment. In the communication process, only on the basis of words, relying on context inference judgment, can accurately understand the true meaning of the word, complete the effective communication.
