Abstract: 

As China taking a more and more active role in the areas of global economy, politics, and culture, Chinese culture has received further accreditation and appreciation. In 2008, China became the host of Olympic Games, great attention, from the world, was attracted to China. At the same time, DreamWorks seized the moment, pushed out the movie Kungfu Panda, which was elaborated by them for five years. This movie may be called the celebration of hybridized cultures. Boundless feasts of visual culture, as well as the essence of Chinese and western culture, were thrown to people. To help more people have a full understanding of different cultures in this movie Kungfu Panda is the main purpose of writing this paper. With Chinese Kungfu being the core subject, many Chinese elements are unfolded in this movie. Chinese Calligraphy、Chinese lantern、Taiji Eight Diagrams figure、Chinese painting、Lion Dancing、and Chinese Monochromes with a little artistic mood, all of these reveal the extensive and profound Chinese culture. Confucianism and Buddhism's thought Zen are included in it. The traditional American values, such as American dream, individualism, are mainly reflected by the character of panda Po. American humor runs through the whole movie, helping people to realize the philosophy of life in a relaxed atmosphere. Panda is one of the symbols of China, and Chinese Kungfu is a traditional culture. Panda Po, keeping a Kungfu dream, has the characteristics of westerners. The filmmakers of Hollywood integrate Chinese culture with Western culture in a boldly innovative way, which brings people the most wonderful movie including both Chinese and western culture. This paper analyses the Chinese and western elements in the movie Kungfu Panda, on the basis of which, it also explains the cultural integration, which helps to provide abundant corpus for cross-culture communication.

摘  要：

随着中国在世界经济，政治，文化领域越来越活跃，中国文化也进一步得到更多人的认可和欣赏。2008年是中国的奥运年，世界各国都将目光投向中国。与此同时，梦工厂紧抓这一时机，推出了历时5年，精心制作的动画巨片——《功夫熊猫》。该片可谓是一场文化盛典，给人们带来无穷的视觉文化享受，同时领悟到中西文化中的精华。此篇论文的主要目的便是让更多的人了解电影功夫熊猫中的不同文化。影片中融合了许多中国元素，以中国功夫为核心题材，出现了书法，灯笼，太极八卦图，绘画，舞狮等绚丽的画面，加上颇有意境的水墨风采，展现了中国文化的博大精深。儒家思想及佛学的“禅”也在影片中得到很好的发挥。美国的传统价值观在影片中主要在熊猫阿宝身上得到很好的体现，如美国梦，个人主义精神。美式幽默则自始至终贯穿于影片，让人们在轻松愉悦的气氛中悟出人生哲理。熊猫是中国的象征之一，功夫是中国的传统文化。有着功夫梦的熊猫阿宝，却有着西方人的性格。好莱坞制作人大胆创新的创意，将中西文化融合在一起，给人们带来迄今为止中西文化结合最精彩绝伦的电影。本文以功夫熊猫这部电影为切入点，分析了电影中的中西文化元素，并在此基础上阐释了电影中的文化融合现象，为跨文化交际提供了丰富的语料。
