Abstract

British football has formed a mature system after one hundred years. It gradually becomes an indispensable part of British life. Football is not only a kind of sports. It has become a kind of popular culture in Britain. It reflects liberalism of British culture. So far the previous researches have focused on British football culture. Few of them combined football culture and values. Along with the angle of multi-culture, the author expects to find out the main British values that are reflected from British football culture. Through the analysis of British football culture, as well as the introduction to British values, the paper can give the readers a new perspective of getting a deeper understanding of the British culture.
This paper consists of three parts. It firstly deals with a brief introduction of the British football culture. Then, it gives a brief analysis of the main British values. The third chapter analyzes the main British values reflected from British football culture.

摘  要

英国足球经过一百多年发展已经形成较成熟的体系，并逐渐成为英国人生活中不可缺少的一部分。在英国，足球不仅是一项运动，更是一种重要的流行文化，体现出英国文化中的自由主义特色。迄今为止以往的研究专注于英国足球文化，鲜有将足球文化和价值观相结合。本文期望结合多元文化的视角，通过对英国足球文化的分析，以及对英国价值观的介绍，更为深刻的挖掘出英国足球文化中的英国价值观,为读者深入了解英国文化提供一个崭新的视角。
本文主要分为三个部分。第一部分简要介绍英国足球文化；第二部分简要分析英国主要的价值观；第三部分分析英国足球文化中反映的主要的英国价值观。
