摘要：

本文通过对《关山飞渡》,《红河谷》,《西部开拓史》,《燃情岁月》, 《与狼共舞》等电影作品中的印第安人形象的对比，分析美国政府对印第安人的政策，尤其二战之后美国在种族问题上政策的改变，说明在美国印第安人的历史中，欧洲殖民者闯入后带给印第安文明的沉重破坏。

Abstract:

The paper will give an overview of the American Indians images’ changing through the comparison of the different images in the movies as Stagecoach, Red River, How the West Was Won, and The Legend of the Fall. The writer will analyze the American official policies on the American Indians, especially the policies on racial problems after WWII in order to show the destruction and hurt that European colonists had brought on American Indians.
