摘  要

复合词是由不同的两个或两个以上的独立的词组成。英语中的复合词是有完整意义、能单独使用的最小单位，在句子中使用广泛。当今学者大多关注其理论研究，尤其是其构成与分类。本文的重点是复合词在金融报道中的规范化运用。本文利用理论完善实践，主要规范复合词在金融报道中的运用。主要研究方法是利用已有的理论成果分析英文金融报道，分析总结复合词在报道中的运用。通过本文发现，复合词形式不同含义不一。规范复合词的使用具有重要的理论和实践意义。一方面，丰富了理论研究的范围，提高了研究成果的实用性。另一方面，复合词的规范化帮助读者更好地理解内容并迅速获得直接信息，提高了报道的准确性。而今后的研究方向重点是复合词的简易表达法。

Abstract

  A compound is made of two or more independent words. It is a minimum unit which can be used independently with complete meanings in English. It can be widely used in sentences. Nowadays, scholars pay more attention to the theoretical study of compounds, especially their structures and classifications. This study focuses on the standard application of compounds in financial reports. It makes full use of theoretical studies of compounds to perfect practices to standardize the usage of compounds in financial reports basically. The main research approach is analyzing English financial reports by established theoretical research results to analyze the application of compounds. It can be found that compounds have diverse meanings with different forms. This paper is of great significance in theory and practice. On the one hand, the study enriches the scopes of theoretical researches and improves its practicability. On the other hand, the results of the study show that the standardization of English compounds can help readers to better understand the content and quickly get the direct information. The standardization of English compounds improves the quality of financial reports to deliver accurate information. The future research direction of the study lays stress on the simplification of English compounds in financial reports.
