《无名的裘德》是英国批判现实主义作家哈代的一部力作，是哈代小说创作艺术的成熟代表作，但同时也是哈代小说创作的终结。小说真实再现了当时社会中存在的观念，展现了社会转型期女性独立意识的萌芽和波折以及传统的价值观伦理观对女性的限制和约束，并对当时社会结构基础的婚姻关系提出质疑。基督教视野中，婚姻决不仅指男女双方通过法律程序结为一体，而首先是作为上帝与其门徒之间爱的盟约的象征。基督教对婚姻伦理价值的论述，往往是通过对夫妻之间爱的性质的阐释来表达的。
根据基督教教义的思想，婚姻主要体现道德的意义。婚姻关系的基础是爱，情感是维系婚姻的重要精髓，人类应该建立一种以人的真挚情感为纽带的婚姻，婚姻应该是以情感为基础，不是出自于个人意愿的真情实意，都是扭曲的结合。正是由于违背这一思想，才早造成《无名的裘德》中三位主人公的悲剧结局。本文主要论述基督教婚姻伦理的三个方面，即婚姻、夫妻、爱，对《无名的裘德》作一简要梳理。

Abstract:

Jude the Obscure is one of the masterpieces of Thomas Hardy, who is a British critical realism writer. This novel not only marks the maturity of Thomas Hardy in his literature career, but also the end of his novel writing. As a true representation of the temporal social belief, the novel reveals the budding and twists of female consciousness, constrains and restrictions from traditional values on woman during the period of the social transformation. In addition, it questions the marriage relationship in the temporal British society. In the Christian view, marriage by no means only refers to the legal process that man and woman became one flesh, but first is the symbol of love, namely the convent between God and his disciples. The analysis of marriage ethics of Christianity is often expressed through the nature of love between the husband and his wife.
According to the Christian doctrine, marriage mainly embodies moral significance. Love is the essence to maintain marriage, and human beings should establish a sincere emotion as a link of marriage. Marriage should be built on the basis of love, thus any form of marriage, if not built on such a base, is distorted. The violation of this thought leads to the tragedy of Jude the Obscure. This paper will give a brief introduction on Christian marriage ethics in three aspects, i.e. marriage—a holy covenant, husband and wife—mutual love and respect, love—enduring patience; and through these three respects the author will give an explanation on Jude the Obscure.
