Abstract

Being the most two important works in the world literature, Odyssey and Ulysses stand as millstone and have a fundamental impact in the following ages. This paper starts with the introduction of these two books, analyzing and making comparison of these two books’ title, characters, context and structure. In this way this thesis highlights the same and different themes of these two books and point out the paralleling and innovative relationship as well as the limitation of it, raising the questions toward human’s future and fate and showing author’s concerns.

摘要

《奥德修斯》和《尤利西斯》作为世界文学史上交相辉映的两部重要作品，给后世产生了深远的影响。文章介绍了两部作品的情节，分析对比了两部作品标题，角色，内容和结构，突出了两部作品主题的异同，并指出了这两部作品的平行和创新关系以及作品的局限，提出对人类的未来以及命运的问题，显示出作者所具有的人文关怀。
