摘要

全球化是当前世界发展的大趋势，跨文化交际越来越成为人们的生活常态。每年都有大量国外影视涌入中国市场，许多优秀的国产电影也纷纷走出国门。为确保真正将电影的内涵输出，减少观众理解障碍，字幕翻译便是重点。由于时间和空间限制，字幕翻译与其他翻译的区别在于三大特点：即时性，文化性，大众性。字幕翻译就是一个跨文化交际的过程。因此，在翻译的字幕时，应该注重不同国家文化的差异，精简字幕，减少理解障碍，使观众更易于接受。本文通过采用关联理论，从语境关联，文化关联，接受者关联三大角度对《大小谎言》中的字幕翻译进行分析,阐释应用关联理论指导字幕翻译具有可行性和有效性。
