从网络用语“女汉子”浅析中国社会的女性主义_英语论文

An Analysis of Feminism in Chinese Society with the Network Term “Female man” as an Example

摘要

近年来，网络热词的出现和使用引起了越来越多研究者的关注和兴趣。本研究调查了近年来较为热门的网络用语“女汉子”在社会中的使用以及所体现的中国社会的女性主义现象。具体说来，本研究从网络用语“女汉子”的出现到使用分析该词所体现的性别意义, 从使用的频率和场合等来分析该词的社会意义，并从该词所体现的女性社会地位出发对中国现代女性主义进行精神层面的分析。

研究结果显示，现在女性在社会中的地位越来越被重视，也越来越高。网络用语“女汉子”的出现到反复使用表明现代中国社会是一个男女平等不受性歧视的社会，尤其体现在女性主义的出现中。在心理和精神层面上，社会已经承认了女性的崛起，旧社会男尊女卑的思想早已被抛之脑后，女性对自己的看法和评价也今时不同往日。 “女汉子”一词明显反映了当下社会对女性的认可以及态度的改变，女性主义已经成为当今中国社会不可忽视和小觑的理念。

Abstract

In recent years, the emergence and use of network hot words has attracted more and more researchers’ attention and interest. This study investigates the use of most popular network term "female man" the feminist phenomenon embodied in modern Chinese society. Specifically, this study attempts to analyze gender significance based on the birth and popularity of "female man", social significance embodied in its frequent use, and also explore the spirituality based on females’ social status in today’s China reflected in this word. 

The results show that women are now more and more important and their status is getting higher and higher. The emergence and frequent use of the network term "female man" shows that modern Chinese society is not sexually discriminatory, considering the emergence of feminism. On the psychological and spiritual level, the community has recognized the rise of women, with the idea of men and women in the old society long left behind and women’s own views and evaluation is also different from those in the past. "Female man" clearly reflects the current social recognition of women, and feminism has become today's Chinese society cannot be ignored and underestimated the idea.
