摘要

歌词语篇被誉为“为演唱而写的口语语篇”,是一种具有口语和书面语篇共同特点的特殊语篇类型,反映人们现实生活中的思想情感,蕴含了丰富的人际意义。迪士尼动画影片中的主题歌因旋律欢快、歌词生动传神、主题思想突出而被世人传唱,其中很多都拿到奥斯卡金像奖最佳歌曲奖项的提名,可见其深远的影响力和流行度,因此迪士尼动画电影主题曲歌词有实际研究意义。目前,国内外运用人际功能分析语篇的相关研究众多,主要为政治语篇、文学作品方面,针对歌词语篇的分析较少。马丁的评价理论是系统功能语言学的新发展,是人际功能的延伸,其中的态度系统能够体现交际双方的情感交流,实现人际意义。因此,本文将以韩礼德系统功能语法中的人际功能为理论基础,结合马丁的评价理论中的态度系统,分析迪士尼动画电影主题曲歌词,将定量研究和定性研究有机的结合起来,通过对该动画主题曲歌词进行数据统计和实例分析,探讨迪斯尼动画歌曲歌词的人际意义,以更好的实现作者与听者之间的互动,对歌词构建创作和欣赏具有一定参考价值。

Abstract

Song lyrics is known as “an oral discourse written for singing”, which is a special type of discourse with the common characteristics of oral and written discourse. It reflects people’s thoughts and feelings in real life and contains rich interpersonal meaning. The theme songs of Disney animated films have been sung by the world for their cheerful melody, vivid lyrics and prominent theme ideas. Many of them have been nominated for the Academy Awards, showing their far-reaching influence and popularity. Thus, the theme song lyrics of Disney animated films have practical research significance. At present, there are many text analyses on interpersonal metafunction but few on song lyrics. Martin’s Appraisal Theory is the further development of Systemic Functional Linguistics, an extension of interpersonal metafunction and its subsystem, attitude, can reflect the emotional communication between the speaker and audience, realizing the interpersonal meaning. Therefore, on the basis of the interpersonal metafunction of Halliday’s Systemic Functional Grammar and Martin’s Appraisal Theory, this thesis tries to analyze the lyrics of Disney animated film theme songs through quantitative and qualitative analysis, so as to find out how the interpersonal meaning is achieved, helping better realize the interaction between the author and the listener, and it provides some references for song construction and appreciation.
