摘要 

《红楼梦》是一部享誉世界的重要文化读本。在当今的全球化背景下，各国间文化的交流日趋频繁，文化信息的传递变得至关重要。随着我国中华文化“走出去”战略的不断推进，如何用准确的语言文字传递中华特色文化成为学界关注的热点，《红楼梦》服饰文化翻译研究正是在这样的前提和背景下逐渐引起学者的关注。研究《红楼梦》服饰文化翻译能够对现代传统服饰的外译提供借鉴意义，有助于推进我国传统服饰文化的推广。因此，本文从苏珊·巴斯内特的文化翻译观角度切入，探讨《红楼梦》中传统服饰词的英译研究。本文发现，在翻译关于颜色、材料、式样、工艺方面的服饰词时，可以从直译、意译、省译及释义等方面进行翻译；期望本文能够对中国传统服饰词的外译提供一些参考，使得中华特色文化能够更好地走出去。
