摘要

众所周知,阅读课在我国英语课堂中扮演着一个重要的角色。如果老师在讲解一篇文章时,不注重对文章的衔接、篇章结构、主题、写作目的、以及文化背景等知识的讲解与分析,学生就不可能透彻地理解一篇文章。

随着近年来我国课程改革的深入,英语阅读能力被放在了一个突出的位置。新形式下的英语教学对于学生英语阅读能力与技巧的要求越来越高。虽然,许多教师已经意识到新课改对于学生阅读能力要求的提高,也尝试着对于传统的英语阅读教学模式做一些改变,但是仍然处于困惑之中。其根本原因还在于许多教师仍然在原来的传统阅读教学方法上做一些微调,而没有做出整体性的突破。

本文围绕着英语阅读课展开研究,并将语篇分析理论应用到阅读课的设计之中。首先,本文提出了阅读的重要性,在总结了不同教学方法的优缺点的基础上,对语篇分析理论做了重点阐述,然后提出了切实可行的语篇教学模式,以期指导阅读教学。最后,以一篇阅读材料为例进行了语篇分析, 展示语篇教学的具体应用方式,旨在为语篇教学提供有参考价值的教学模式。

Abstract

As we all know, reading plays an important role in our English class. If a teacher explains a text without analyzing its cohesion, information flow, theme, writing intention, and the context involved, it is unlikely for his students to have a full understanding to the text. 

Recent years, with the deepening of curriculum reform, English reading ability has been placed in a prominent position. The English teaching asks for a higher requirement for students’ English reading ability and skills under the new circumstances. Although some English teachers have realized this kind of change, and they are also trying to make some differences in it, they still have confusions about it. The original reason is that they still try to do some fine-tuning based on traditional teaching methods rather than make a complete breakthrough.

This paper focuses on English reading, and manage to apply the discourse analysis into it. First of all, this paper puts forward the importance of English reading, and then sums up the advantages and disadvantages of different teaching methods. It also emphasizes the theory of discourse analysis. And then the author puts forward a reasonable teaching mode based on discourse analysis, giving an example to it. At last, through the analysis to a reading sample, the paper explains the application of discourse analysis in specific, aiming to give a valuable teaching mode for discourse analysis-based teaching.
