The Expressing of the Keywords in the Traditional Chinese Values in the English Versions of The Analects of Confucius_英语论文

摘要

《论语》是西方最早翻译的中国古代典籍之一，也是重译次数最多的经典典籍之一。近年来，孔子学院在海外的创办也推动《论语》英译的发展。《论语》涵盖了孔子及其弟子的话，论、语二字的含义可解释为“论纂”、“接闻于夫子之语”。弟子及诸侯问孔子邦、国、政、仁、学，孔子以“五常”仁、义、礼、智、信论证邦国为政之道，又以温、良、恭、俭、让这“五常”阐明家庭学习孝顺之根本。作者从目的语文化和读者角度，采用文本细读，对比研究辜鸿铭，理雅各《论语》英译本中的十个核心概念词。本文提倡采用“归化为主，异化为辅”直译再加注的方法翻译这十个核心概念词。此翻译方法可为中国传统文化走出去中的核心词翻译路径提供参考。
