摘要

本文从翻译的角度出发，旨在探讨后殖民时代中以翻译为媒介的中国文化输出的效果。研究对象采取的是中国近现代文学大家老舍的代表作《骆驼祥子》及其四个主要译本。该小说在中国以及西方世界的传播情况都比较好，同时译本众多，具有可比性。本文通过使用具体的例子来对各个译本进行了描述性和语言性的分析，并用费舍尔评分标准对研究中假设的文化输出影响因子进行量化分析，使文化输出的效果获得可视化结果。在对各译本进行描述性分析中，本文从宏观与微观两个大角度出发，宏观角度是指对译本整体的翻译风格进行了分析与比较；微观角度是指通过对习语的翻译比较，具体探讨各译本的翻译风格以及翻译策略。在对各译本进行量化分析时，主要关注的文化输出影响因子包含译者身份，翻译策略，文化实力，出版情况等等，对每一个影响因素进行加权赋分，最终以图表形式得出一个可视化结果。本研究的目的是了解文化输出效果，文化不平衡，出版业，翻译风格和译者因素在作为文化传播活动的翻译过程中的相互关系。研究发现以下结果：（1）翻译者在翻译特定的文化载体时对作为文化交流活动的翻译行为有重要影响;（2）出版业对文化产出的效果也有很大的影响。（3）后殖民主义理论得以实证，文化产出的效果未能达到预期。
