摘要：

英雄主义在美国有着悠久的历史，是美国文化发展的历史产物。在很大程度上，英雄主义所包含的竞争、冒险、自信等优良品质影响着美国人的性格、处事方式和价值观，这些优良品质使美国人对未来生活充满乐观和希望。这使得美国人在危险面前总是以“英雄”形象去应对和处理。大量美国影片都或多或少在一定程度上展现美国文化中的英雄主义。
本文以美国科幻影片切入点，以《超人》、《蜘蛛侠》、《钢铁侠》等科幻大片为例，阐述美国英雄主义的基本内容、特征及产生原因，同时分析科幻影片中英雄主义的发展变化和对美国文化所产生的影响，这对于观众在观看美国科幻片时理解美国英雄主义和美国文化有着重要的意义。

Abstract:

Heroism not only has a long history in the United States, but it is also the history product of development of American culture. To a great extent, the good qualities included in the heroism, such as the competition, adventure, self-confident and so on affect the American character, ways and values. These qualities promote American to confront the future life with optimism and hope. When the Americans are in face of danger, they are always able to deal with it as the "hero”. To a certain extent, a large number of American films are more or less showing the heroism in American culture. In this paper, the American science fiction films are seen as the start line point. This paper takes the "Superman", "Spider Man", "Iron Man" and other science fiction films as an example and expounds the basic content, characteristics and causes of the heroism. Then it analyzes the development and changes of heroism in science fiction films, states the influence on American culture. There is an important guiding significance in helping the audiences watching the American science fiction movies to understand American heroism and American culture.

1. Introduction
The hero is an eternal topic of heroism in human. It doesn’t only reflect specific cultural pursuits, but to some extent, also represents the progress of history. American heroism is the historical product of the development of American culture and the composition of American core idea. In American daily life, they always keep the tireless progress and unremitting efforts in mind, which can promote Americans to dream and hope for the future. When in danger or suffering, they will be a "hero" to face and deal with them. Many American movies, especially science fiction movies, have a strong and obvious feature of the heroism. Above all, “heroism is the decisive, heroic and sacrificial spirit in the process of a significant unfinished historical task or achieving a particular social idea”.
