摘  要

随着中国加入WTO,经济与国际接轨,对外贸易日益频繁,商务英语的重要性日益突出。商务英语作为一门特殊英语,有着自己与普通英语不同的特征。它涉及的范围十分广泛,包括商务,贸易,金融和国际关系等等。在表达上,商务英语更加注重直接性,准确性,简洁性和礼貌性。而句型表达方面多用一般现在时和被动语态。所以,对于学者来说,他们需要掌握更多与商务相关的知识。同时,在口语表达上,商务英语具有更强的准确性,简洁性和礼貌性。但是在商务英语教学上,却很少有一套能与普通英语区分开来的更体现其特性的教学体系。本文主要结合商务英语的特点,在基于现有的商务英语教学方法的基础上,把课堂上的教学内容与课外现实的商务活动相结合,使学者能够零距离地置身于商务活动,学有所用,更好的提高商务英语教学质量。

Abstract

Since China entered into WTO, the domestic economy has integrated with international economy. China now has more opportunities to attend trading activities with other countries in the world. Under this situation, Business English becomes much important. Business English, as English for special purpose, which involves wide range, including trade, economy and international relationship. The expression of oral Business English is much concrete, concise, and polite. As for the sentence structures, in oral Business English communication, the simple present tense and the continuous tense are frequently used. Thus, for learners, they are not only required to have a good command of some relative professional knowledge of business, but also good expressions of oral Business English. Considering the particularity of oral Business English, there should be a special teaching method for it to vary from the general English. Therefore, A new teaching approach for oral Business English was put forward in this thesis. This method focuses much on the situational teaching and activity teaching. It suggests that teachers should extend the English teaching class to a real workplace. In the premise, institutions or colleges should find factories or companies who are willing to cooperate with. Then, the learners will be offered the chances to attend the real business activities in or after class. In this way, they can practice what they have learned as soon as possible. More real business activities they attend, the greater progress they will make. At the same time, for teachers, a better final teaching result will be accomplished, either.
