摘  要

所谓商务英语，简单来说就是一般英语在国际商务语境下用来交流的语言。商务英语中存在很多多义词，它们既有普通词义又有商务词义，所以对于学习商务英语词汇的人士来说是一大难点。这就要求学习者有更多的真实例子来积累这些词所具有的多种意思。在认知语言学的观点下，每一个多义词的所有义项都构成一个以原型为中心的语言范畴，其他义项都是由原型义经过隐喻和转喻的方式派生出来的。本文主要以词源信息为基础，采用举例法选取使用频率较高的名词、动词、形容词进行具体分析，并且详细描述普通词义和商务词义的关系。笔者希望通过本文使大家更好地了解和掌握同义词的每个词义以及商务用法，亦强调商务词义的掌握不单单依靠字典所列义项，更是取决于词汇所在的商务语境，对上下文的理解之后学习者才能更加精准地掌握多义词的商务词义。

Abstract

Briefly speaking, business English is the language that general English is used for communicating in international business context. In business English, there exist some polysemants with both general and business meanings, which is one of the problems in the learning of business English lexis. Therefore, we should have more examples to accumulate the various meanings. In cognitive linguistics, all the meanings of each polysemant form a semantic category surrounding a prototype, from which derive other meanings through metaphor and metonymy. Based on the information of etymology, the thesis makes concrete analysis from using frequently used noun, verb, adjective according to example research methods and describes in detail the relation between general meaning and business meaning. The thesis mainly uses example research methods to make people understand and to grasp every meaning and business usage of polysemants. And the thesis also emphasizes that the meaning not only relies on dictionary but more decides on the words in which business context. After understanding the context, we can accurately acknowledge the meaning of business polysemant.
