摘  要

道歉是言语交际中的一种言语行为。生活中我们通常会因为不同的原因,以不同的方式向别人道歉或是接受别人的道歉。然而一提起道歉,人们可能会简单地将之理解为“对不起”、“请原谅”等言语行为。道歉言语行为通常发生在当说话者有意或无意中冒犯了听话者时而采取的一种旨在恢复两者之间以往特定关系的行为。当一个人在社会团体中违背了社会规范或冒犯了他人时,他作出道歉行为,就可以维护此人的人际和谐关系,恢复其社会地位,树立良好的个人形象。本文旨在研究分析商务谈判中英汉道歉语及其对道歉策略的选择的差异,通过阐述道歉的研究现状及其定义、道歉的种类、道歉技巧及策略,对汉英道歉策略的选择进行比较,最后从其文化价值体现分析汉英道歉跨文化的差异。研究表明,由于中英文化不同、交际方式和价值取向的不同,从而导致在中英商务谈判中道歉策略的选择上也有所不同。

Abstract

The behavior of apology is one aspect of social linguistic intercourse. The words or behavior of apology usually occur when the speaker intentionally or accidentally offends header to restore the relationship. When one in the community has violated the social norm or offends others, he will make an apology to maintain the interpersonal harmonious relations. In daily life, we often do things related to apology, which we give to others or accept from other people, for various reasons in different ways. Actually, nowadays, with the development of economic globalization, the international trade becomes more and more important, along with which, the negotiation is of high importance in international business. However, the difference of cross-culture makes it rather difficult to negotiate, and to some extent, it will lead to culture conflict. Therefore we should pay more attention to the apology skills and strategies in business negotiation. The purpose of this paper is to study the cross-cultural differences on apology culture of Sino-Uk and choose the apology strategy, through the elaboration of the definition, research situation, apology kinds, apology skills and strategies, the paper compares on the apology strategies between British and China and then analysizes the difference on cross cultural value of Sino-Uk. Research shows that the culture difference, different ways of communication and diverse value orientation result in distinct choice of apology strategies for British and China.
