摘要：

短篇小说 《日用家当》以 20世纪 6O年代美国黑人权力运动为背景，刻画了母女三人对美国黑人民族文化传统的态度以及黑人女性的生存状况。小说中被子被赋予象征意义，代表着美国黑人传统文化。本文通过黑人母女三人对待祖传家庭用品的不同态度，从美国黑人文化遗产和文化身份认同的视角，围绕 “我是谁”、“我与什么认同”两个焦点，分析黑人文化精髓和黑人文化传统之传承的意义。

Abstract:

 The short story Everyday Use is written as the background of the black power movement in 1960s. It depicts a mother and two daughter’s attitude toward traditional culture and black woman's survival condition. In the novel the quilt is endowed with symbolic meaning, representing the traditional culture of blacks in USA.  Through the different attitudes toward the quilts of the three women and from the perspective of African American cultural heritage and cultural identity, focusing on “who am I” and “what identity I belong to” these two focal points to analysis the essence of the black culture and the heritage of the traditional black culture.
