摘要

《天龙八部》中的萧峰因他的英雄气概、绝世武功与侠义正气而深受人们敬仰。《老人与海》中的圣地亚哥，因其硬汉式的英雄主义精神而令人敬佩不已。然而无论是萧峰还是圣地亚哥，他们的结局却还是一场悲剧。萧峰的身世、冤屈发人深省。圣地亚哥的身世、最终一无所获的胜利令人叹息。而作为英雄本应该有美好的结局，但他们的结局却是前者失去生命，后者赢得了一场一无所获的胜利。因此本论文由三部分组成：第一部分比较他们的身世，性格，和悲剧式的英雄主义的相似之处。第二部分比较他们的身世，性格，和悲剧式的英雄主义的不同之处。第三部分从社会文化和作者生活经历两点对造成他们悲剧式的英雄主义给予分析概括。
